Sandhya asks Mauli to assure her that she loves Ishaan as intensely as Ishaan loves her. Mauli was speechless. Sandhya warns Mauli to be true to her. Mauli nods. Sandhya asks if Mauli can do something for the sake of Ishaan. Mauli was ready to do anything. Sandhya conditions that Mauli must break all her connections with Kunal. Mauli promises that she neither has a relation with Kunal, nor will there be in future. Sandhya demands Mauli to break relation with everyone connected to Kunal, including Dida and Mamma as well. Only then Ishaan’s family can accept her.
Sandhya says her connection to Kunal won’t break so easily, she will have to sacrifice these relations. Mauli qualifies when Kunal left her, Mamma and Dida chose her against their own son. They stood with her as her strength, though it wasn’t easy to leave one’s own son. How can she leave them? Sandhya accepts that Mauli must bear the burdens of her past, but if Ishaan will also have to bear this burden? Mauli asks her to believe her. Sandhya wasn’t ready to hand her son into Mauli’s, knowing her circumstances. She inquires again if Mauli can break her relation with Kunal’s family or not. Mauli doesn’t respond. Sandhya turns to leave for boarding her flight. Mauli stops Sandhya and requests her not to take such a testimony, Ishaan is extremely important in her life. He is a father for Mishti. She promises that Kunal and Pari will have no interference in their lives. Sandhya counters what about Ishaan, if he doesn’t deserve a young girl from the society who doesn’t carry the baggage like Mauli. Ishaan and Mauli’s marriage depends upon Mauli’s decision. Mauli at once decides that she holds Ishaan dear but can’t leave Mamma and Dida.
There, Mamma speaks to Ishaan on call. Ishaan says his mother has certain concerns and is angry but he is sure Mauli will clear the misunderstanding.
Mahek and Pari decorate the house with balloons. Kunal asks Pari to let him out of the room now, but Pari tells him to wait. She hurriedly sets the candles over the cake, turns the lights off and asks Kunal to come outside. Kunal was startled to see all the décor of the house. Pari and Mahek sing the birthday song for Kunal. Kunal holds Pari in his arms and was thankful to her. Pari asks him to cut the cake now. Mahek lights the candles. Pari reminds him to blow the candles, Mahek tells him to make a wish first. Kunal shares bites of cake with Pari and Mahek. Mahek mischievously rubs the cake on Kunal’s face, he makes a mark on Pari’s playfully; then dances around with Pari. Mahek also become a part of the dancing while the three have fun.
Ishaan restlessly continue to call Mauli and was worried about the matter.
Kunal complements Mahek’s cooking. Mahek boasts that she always cooks best. Pari asks Mahek if all of our wishes come true. Mahek promises that if they are heartily made. Pari says if her mama’s wish will also come true? She tells Mahek about the CD her mama left for her before dying. Mauli and Nandini were best friends, she likes Mauli but Mishti won’t let her Buddy fulfil that wish. She asks Kunal why Mishti hates her and Kunal. Kunal tries to distract her but Pari was insistent, she shouts at Kunal for always hiding the matters, throws her toys away and runs into her room. Mahek goes behind Pari.
Mauli returns home. Mishti was excited and reminds Mauli that she had to go out with her and Popsy tomorrow. She turns to call Popsy, but Mauli says it’s been long that she hasn’t spent time with Mishti alone. What about a girl’s outing tomorrow? Mishti agrees and hugs Mauli. Mauli kiss Mishti good night after which she runs into her room.
Mamma and Dida were worried for Mauli’s distress. Mauli cries as Dida inquires her about Ishaan’s mother. Dida says her tears narrate the story, Sandhya’s narrow mentality couldn’t understand her open heart. Mamma asks Mauli to be little patient, Ishaan will handle the matters. Mauli says Ishaan’s mother isn’t wrong, she isn’t the right choice for Ishaan. Mamma and Dida warn Mauli not to take any such decision which affects her or Mishti’s future.
