Ashoka comes to the temple where he had come with Kaurvaki. He looks at the thread on his hand and recalls Dharma asking Kaurvaki to be at his side for life. He ties the thread on the tree. Kaurvaki told me very easily what she asked from you Ma (Goddess). I couldn’t tell her what I asked for. I only wish to fulfil my mother’s wish. Their wishes are same. If it is my destiny to spend my life with her then I accept it. Give me strength to apologize to her and share what’s in my heart.
Kaurvaki is running in the corridor. Her dupatta has caught fire because of the diya that falls while she runs in the corridor. She is unaware of it.
Ashoka thinks I will first fight with her. She said so much and then dint let me speak. I will promise her lifelong friendship. There cannot be any misunderstanding between us now.
Jagannath stands in Kaurvaki’s way. Where are you going? She says I am going to do repentance for your mistake. He holds her hand. She says it was of utmost importance to me that you gain your respect. But if you stop me today then I might do something that will break all the limits of respect. She angrily leaves. Jagnnath vows to not let his daughter marry a Maurya till he is alive.
Siamak says it was the hatred for Maurya’s in my blood which made me hate Sushim and Ashoka. Why dint Ma tell me the truth? Why did she keep me away from my father? I could have hugged him once. Helena says they both loved you too much. They were worried that their love might take you away from your destiny (throne). Your mother loved Bindu a lot but he cheated her. Till marriage he hid this fact that from Noor that he had given his heart to Dharma. He told Noor he will never be able to love her. He married her as he wanted Khurasani support. When her insult became unbearable then she thought to kill herself. Destiny had other plans. Justin saved her life. He was just like Noor here in the palace. They both were ignored. Siamak again vows to make sure each maurya pay for the insults done to his father and mother especially Dharma.
The soldiers surround the women. Dharma stands in front of all the ladies bravely pointing a knife at Unani soldiers. Don’t try to touch Maharani Charu. Winning does not mean being cheap. We will go before your Raja but with respect. The soldiers make way for them.
The ladies come in the courtroom. Bindu stands there chained. Siamak is also brought there. Nicator and Mir smile seeing him. Helena comes in and directly sits on the throne. Nicator says these Maurya’s are culprit. Decide their punishment. Dharma thinks of Ashoka.
Sushim meets Ashoks which worries him. You came here alone? What happened to you? Sushim tells Ashoka about Nicator attacking on their palace. Father had to surrender. It is time to join hands with your brother. Our motherland needs both her sons together. We both can save Magadh together today! Ashoka looks at him.
Helena asks for Sushim calling him a mouse. Your silence wont keep him alive for too long. Either he hid somewhere or he went to seek help from someone. He wont return though. She asks Mir to end all the way to enter inside palace. Search for Sushim. I want him dead or alive. Charu looks worried. Mir goes to make preps.
Sushim asks Ashoka what he is thinking. Our every moment spent here can mean danger for everyone back home. We will have to be together to fight with them. He narrates everything to Ashoka. They chose the right time and place. The attack was done so smartly that no one could sense anything. They knew about our new tunnel also. We had no option. Father had to surrender. Both Nayak and Acharya RG tells Ashoka to leave right away. Ashoka laughs. I was about to fall for your words. You made a great plan. You want to kill me on the way! If I trusted you even a bit then I would have left with you without wasting a second but you have broken my trust. Sushim insists that he isn’t lying. Come with me atleast for Mata Dharma.
Ashoka tells him not to misuse his mother’s name. People have made fun of it already. I wont let anyone make my strength my weakness anymore. Sushim refuses to leave without him. Ashoka gives him a sword to make a decision who wins. Ashoka aims his sword at Sushim. Sushim drops his sword. It is true that we were, are and will always be enemy. But if the throne for which we are fighting goes to the enemy then why fight. I couldn’t have come to kill you now as you have the best soldiers of Magadh. I am standing here without any weapon. Save Magadh! Sushim kneels down before Ashoka and folds his hands. Patliputra is in problem. Patliputra needs you. Ashoka holds his hands and puts them down. We will leave for Patliputra right away.
Ashoka seeks blessings of Ma (goddess). Bless me that I succeed in freeing my family. I will come back to resume what was left in between (regarding Kaurvaki) when given a chance.
Kaurvaki is sure Ashoka will understand her when she will tell him what’s in her heart. She runs towards the temple.
Sushim speaks to Nayak about the Kalinga war. Did none of our soldier die in the process? Nayak replies that Ashoka did not let a war situation arise. He singlehandedly won Takshshila first and now Kalinga.
Kaurvaki falls down while running.
Ashoka sends Acharya RG and Nayak in different direction while he and Sushim will go from another direction. They all say Jai Janani. Kaurvaki hears them. She resumes running. Ashoka leaves with his troops. Kaurvaki calls out after Ashoka but he cannot hear her. She breaks down.
Helena says Samrat Bindu is standing defeated in his own courtroom waiting for me to decide his fate. My father was standing before your father long ago. My freedom was snatched by your father and Chanakya as a compromise. Your family will pay for it today, right before your eyes. Worst death is the death where one dies with regrets. You will regret it that you dint give me death penalty. Your pain will not last for too long though. I will give you death penalty. I cannot show the same mercy on you that you showed on me. I am not as soft hearted as you Indians. Bindu agrees. You don’t have our blood. We are different as I am still addressing you as Ma. I still respect you. What to do, this is our tradition and culture.
Your hatred too could not pollute it. I will never regret being soft on you. it is the tradition of our motherland. We don’t hurt our mother even if she is evil. I will die the death of a martyr who fought but did not cheat. This victory isn’t stable. Truth and dharma wins in the end. If I cannot see that day then history will surely have its mention. Helena taunts him. You lost but did not give up yet. It is time to do justice. Nicator takes out his sword and advances towards Bindu when Siamak speaks up. Don’t penalise my father. It means Mata has heard my prayers. Ashoka has accepted me. What would he have asked for? I am mad. Everything is clear yet I am asking. She removes her thread and ties it on the tree next to the one tied by Ashoka. She turns to go inside when jagannath blocks her way. He elft without talking to you, right? Your love story remained incomplete. Come in your senses now. You went against me. God showed that you should not spend your life with a Daasi putra. She tells him to say whatever he wants to. I have got Mata’s blessings. I am going to Patliputra. He pulls her back. You got his effect. You are going against me just like he went against his father. I am not Bindu to accept it. She asks him to let her go.
Helena says your father snatched the right from a Unani to sit on the throne. You all are standing under Unani’s today. Bindu’s death will be a perfect lesson for everyone. No one will ever think of going against Unani’s. Your motherland will be under the feet of Unani’s. Dharma tells her to stop. Helena claps for them. All 3 DIL’s are speaking in the same tone today. I know their truth though.

Siamak refuses to kill his father. Nicator points his sword at him. Siamak asks him to kill him. Bindu gives him his swear. No father can see his son dying before his eyes. DO as they say. Siamak smiles at Nicator. He acts to be heartbroken by Bindu’s decision. I wont live for long with this guilt. Nicator gives him his sword. Bindu closes his eyes.
