Alok slapping Shiv as he is unable to take it any longer. Meenu asks him to stop. Alok says don’t dare to speak like that for your mother. She gave a new life to Ira. He says it is true that you gave birth to a dead baby and other side a woman gave birth to a healthy boy. I begged her to give her son and she agreed. He tells Shiv not to tell again that he is illegimate or found in gutter. Alok says you are a son of a soldier and reveals that he is Anoop and Meenu’s son. Shiv, Anandi and everyone else are shell shocked. He says Meenu sacrifised for them. She gave her first baby so that Ira can live. Ira sits down in shock. Meenu rushes to her and says Shiv is your son. I just gave birth to him but you did a good upbringing to him. She cries. Alok tells Ira that you couldn’t take it after losing 2 babies. He says he was feeling helpless that day and tells everything in flashback.
Flashback is shown….Ira is sitting at Meenu’s bedside. She hears someone cries and comes out. She asks someone else why she is crying. That lady says that she is crying as she couldn’t become mother again after a miscarriage. Ira gets sad listening to that. Alok comes and asks why she is looking tensed. Ira worries for her baby. Alok says nothing will happen to their baby. Ira says she couldn’t cope up the third time and she will die. Alok says everything is safe this time and nothing will be wrong. He asks her to focus on Meenu. He says still there is time for her delivery and asks her to rest at home. Ira says Meenu is her responsibility in Anoop’s absence. Nurse and Alok asks her to rest at home. Flashback ends.
Alok says you got scared after knowing about other’s misery. He repents to send her home from the hospital. He says Meenu got labour pain that time. She asks nurse to call Ira. Nurse says they will handle. Alok says he wants to make a call but the receptionalist asks him to stand in the line. Alok calls Ira and tells about Meenu’s labour call. Ira says she will come there. Alok says one phone call changed our lives. Meenu says it is my fault. I was afraid. She blames herself for Meenu’s accident.
Flashback is shown. Ira’s car gets punctured while she is on the way to the hospital. Driver says it will take 15 mins to change the tyre. Ira says she don’t have time and takes horse ride. She asks the horse rider to drive carefully as she is pregnant. She falls down when she was getting down the tanga. Sarla recognises her and takes her inside the hospital. Meenu is taken inside the labour room. Alok is shocked to see Ira on the stretcher. Sarla tells him that she had an accident. Alok is shocked when he finds her unconscious. Nurse asks Alok to see on Meenu’s form. Doctor tells Alok that they have to operate on Ira and take out the baby. Alok requests him to save Ira and the baby. Doctor says they will try their best. Nurse asks him to sign on the papers for Ira’s operation. Alok wonders what to do alone. Ira is in operation theatre while Meenu is in labour room.
