11th October Friday Update on True Love

Meethi/Mukta decorationg Rangoli together. Mukta says, it seems like the Rangoli is smiling.
Mukta says, when you’re there in a festival, I feel very happy.
Meethi says, I also love celebrating festivals with the family. Celebrating it with the family has it’s own charm. Be it Holi, Diwali etc. Mukta says, or maybe a birthday.
Meethi says, when we were little, Anni used to tell us stories on every festival. Like today, for Raavan-dehen, Anni’s story used to be like a running commentary.
Then we used to marry Raam and Seeta after coming back home. Kanha bhayya used to become the priest. But I was so little then, didn’t understand what marriage was? But now I understand.
Mukta says, you’re right Meethi. Kids understand what a marriage is by looking at their mother-father. My luck is just like you too. She feels sad.
Meethi says, leave everything… I always used to want to become a bride and want to marry the doll. I used to think a knight will come on a white horse and take me away.
Mukta says, and he will save the princess from a monster. But when we grow up we find out that monsters are in real life and no prince comes and saves us – she has a flashback of seeing Tej for the first time on that rainy night.
Meethi says, but today’s princes don’t come on a white horse. They come on a bike. They make you cry and smile. They scold you when you make a mistake, corrects your mistakes. She has flashbacks of Vishnu. Mukta looks at her.
Meethi says, he shows you the right path… shows you the meaning of life…
Mukta says, and what’s the name of that Prince? Meethi says, Vishnu.
Then she realises what she has said… and says Vishnu… Vishnu Bhagwan. The one who has Vishnu’s blessing, that would be the Prince.
Mukta says, but you just said the Prince’s name was Vishnu.
Meethi says, no silly… Prince’s name cannot be Vishnu. Princes’ names are like Karan, Raj, Ranveer…
Mukta says, you will find your prince very soon.
Meethi says, do you have a prince in your heart. You must have thought about it. She says, I promise I won’t tell anyone… you can tell me.
Mukta has flashbacks of Tej and Nani telling her he wants to marry her. She says, I haven’t thought about it, but I may have to think about it very soon.
Meethi thinks of Aman/Mukta and says how’s your Aman? Do you have news of him?
Mukta says, he would be okay. I’m not in touch with him. I don’t have any place for him in my life now. Mukta goes away to get the ‘deeya’ for Rangoli.

Damini brings Kheer for Jogi and says you like it, have it.
Mukta’s going in front of the room and stops to listen.
Jogi says, no Damini, I don’t feel like eating it.
Do you remember Damini, how this house used to liven up at each festival with Icha/Tapasya’s laughter.
Where is our daughter Tapasya we don’t know, and Icha has forgotten how to laugh.
Damini says, since she came back to see Veer from the hospital she wants to stay with him and look after him… but the situation is such that if she goes to that house all she will get is insults.
Jogi says, we’re so helpless. I cannot do anything for my daughters.
Damini says, if anyone can do it, it’s Gunwanti ji.
It’s her rule in that house.

Gunwanti and family praying in the temple at house. Umed says, the day of the festival, my son is in the hospital, and grandson is don’t know where?
Gunwanti says, don’t talk about Yuvi like this. You have no idea he’s very upset. I’m praying for Veer and Yuvi only.
She prays.
Tej comes in the house blowing a trumpet like tune from a folded paper. Everyone makes faces at his entry.
Tej stands behind the family and starts singing – “Itni shakti humein dena daata”.
Chanda comes and sees him standing next to Amla.
He asks how Lalla is?
Umed and Gunwanti are angry. Umed turns around and says, you’re very worried about Lalla now? You didn’t think before hitting him?
We should send you to the police. Gunwanti holds his hand.
He says, bhaujayee, big brother is angry with me. You want to go to the police, go ahead. I’m not afraid. I went to the police myself and accepted my mistake. He gives a paper to Umed.
Umed reads it.

Tej says, go to the police if you want… it’s the matter of the respect of our house.
Gunwanti says, don’t think we’re scared of filing a case against you. If Yuvi’s case wasn’t active, you would have been behind bars for life. No lawyer would have been able to save you.
We’re quiet so Daddaji’s name doesn’t get ruined, otherwise there’s no respect or name for you in the society.
Tej says, Daddaji’s name and respect?? What’s that?
He laughs and says, I am the result of his ‘ayyashi’. Why don’t you say that if my name gets public, Daddaji’s respect will also go public. That’s why you are all quiet.
He signals for Chanda to come with him and leaves. So does Chanda.
Gunwanti prays again.
Umed leaves the temple… and Yuvi comes in the door. He looks all beaten up.
Gunwanti says, Yuvi there’s a pooja for Dussehra at home and you were nowhere to be found. He says, Pooja?? What pooja? Would they have saved me? (pointing towards the temple).
He remembers Rathore hitting him.
Gunwanti then looks at him and asks what happened? Where did you get this blood.
Yuvi says, this blood and hurt is nothing… Mukta’s father would have killed me.
Gunwanti says, Rathore?
Yuvi says, he’s a very dangerous man.
Gunwanti says, yes, he can do anything and she has a flashback of meeting him at the ICU.
Gunwanti tells Yuvi to go out of town for a few days, when the date for the case comes, I will call you back. Please listen to me. Yuvi goes away.

Mukta in her room remembering Icha begging Gunwanti to let her see Veer and Gunwanti refusing. Then a flashback of Nani’s advice… and then a flashback of Yuvi molesting him.
She thinks whether I would be able to give such a big sacrifice.
Then she thinks if Icha Maa had not saved me that night, then I don’t know what would have happened?
I would have to take this step for her. Today’s Dussehra… Raam/Sita got together on this day and evil was ended.
Jogi and Family watching the Raamlila etc. Mukta having flashbacks. Of talking to Rathore, of talking to Nani, then of Icha begging.
Jogi tells Mukta, Bhagwan Ram and Sita were separated by Raavan, and then bhagwaan had to come and kill Raavan… after that Raam/Sita got together. Then good won over evil.
Kanha tells Surbhi, the meaning of Dussehra is the end of evil and truth’s victory. And Raam/Sita getting together.
Mukta has those flashbacks again… she goes up to Nani and says, I have decided, Nani. I will marry Tej Singh Bundela. I will fight for Icha Ma and get her rights back as Bundela family’s bahu. Sita/Ram will get together and Raavan will be defeated. I’m ready to sacrifice for Icha Ma. Nani gets shocked and says, Mukta beta, you realise you’re going to take a huge step. Mukta says, yes I know I’m taking a big step. Nani says, Mukku beta, think one more time.
Mukta says, I thought a lot… all I’m doing for the last few days is think… and after thinking so much I realised that in front of Icha Maa’s happiness, my happiness is nothing. I want to meet Tej tomorrow. Nani says, Mukta agreed? That means I won? I should be happy, but raam hi raakhey…
